30 and still going strong

On Friday, 19 November 2021, we celebrated a big evening with almost the whole staff at Marttila Hall in Seinäjoki. At Nordautomation’s 30th anniversary celebrations, we enjoyed above all good food, drink and each other’s company, and rewarded our employees for their years of service.

A wonderful part of the programme were the recollections of Norda’s founder Pauli Ojala about the early days of the company.

The story brought back memories of the company’s challenging early days, the focus ranging from dry sorting plants and sawmill conveyors to log handling plants, and the transition to Swedish ownership for the second time.

We were pleased to see that even since the Addtech acquisition, life at the Alajärvi plant has remained independent, but the horizon has broadened: with Addtech, Nordautomation will have an eastern route to the Russian market in 2020.

Thank you to all our staff, customers and stakeholders for the years up to this point. This is a good basis on which to build for the next 30 years.

The 30th anniversary was celebrated with good food, drink and company.
Founder Pauli Ojala told stories from the company’s history.
